    The jump is jumping you. You’re not jumping it.

    There’s not much of a “preload” before the jump.

    During the face of the jump, you’re pushing back just enough so the g forces don’t force the bike into you, but you’re not actively standing up or extending more.

    2nd hit looked better. Probably just need to spend a half hour at a beginner jump line if you have one nearby

    it looks more like you are squashing than jumping

    I find in my head when i jump well its because i am actually trying to jump high – your velocity takes the distance
    when i’m jumping poorly its because i’m stressing about distance and trying to jump forwards
