that’s pretty unprofessional. needs. some trimming. is it a brand new install from the factory or is this after a service visit
Personally, I think it could be neater but I don’t think it’s shoddy enough to warrant taking it back. Also with Scott’s insane decision to route mechanical cables internally like that I’m not sure what kind of compromises have to be made along the way, someone who’s worked on these might be able to provide some insight.
Edit: just saw the photo of the cable exit below the BB, yeah that FD cable looks like it should be shortened up a bit.
Might as well scrap it
It doesn’t “look good”, BUT… I’d prefer there to be excess until you get your fit dialed in.
You would hate to have to replace all the cabling/tubing if it turned out it was cut perfectly but too short to allow a proper fit.
There’s a special place in hell for manufacturers who design mid-tier bikes with integrated headsets. Your pain has only just begun.

Are the cable houses full length? You can pull the bottom brackets a bit tighter.
You do NOT want the headset any tighter. In fact, it’s almost a bit much, but still ok. Extreme bends in housing and cables add tension and friction. You generally want sweeping gentle bends.

1. Did you buy “it” online?
2. Was there any bike fitting involved?
Looking at the number of spacers, I guess this bike has not yet been fitted to your needs, hence more wiggle room is a much better alternative than to replace all tubing and cables. Anyway, if the bike does fit a 100%, sure the job could have been done better, if adjustment are still required, all is good.
