Hello everyone, just took ownership of my first fat bike, a trek Farley 7. Coming over from cross country style riding, and being relatively new to that as well this thing seems to be a blast.
I was pleasantly surprised that the Farley rode as well and was as fast as it was riding the same trails I ride my Top Fuel on. Even with a fresh covering of snow the fat bike took everything I could throw at it and even handled the downhill section with ease.
I was curious if anyone else has one of these or has any tips on set up for a new fat biker. I’m riding an xl frame and I’m a larger fella, tipping the scales at 270.
I originally thought about adding some travel to the fork, any info on the matter is appreciated. Otherwise, thanks for reading all this and keep the shiny side up on the trails.

Tire pressure is pretty sensitive in my experience. Use a good digital gauge and play around until you find what works for you.
Really good bikes, road one for three years. There is room to go down a couple teeth on the chainring if it’s hilly where you ride.
