A friend‘s husband recently passed away and she asked if I can sell his bike online. Since I’m not an expert I’m curious what’s a realistic price to get for it. I’m grateful for every input of you guys and feel free to ask anything you want

$100-150, slightly more if you clean and tune it

Bike prices are very subjective because buyers are usually looking for a specific size and model. It’s a thin market so be patient.
If you can narrow down the year and model you could look for comparable bikes on pinkbike or eBay completed sales.
Hose it off and wipe it dry, $120. As is $80-100 if everything works.
Probably $75-100 in current condition & depending on your local market.
I would try to sell on a local marketplace – shipping would cost more than it’s worth. Hose it down, hit it with some lemon pledge and a rag, list for $150OBO, take $75+
The used market is getting tight and a lot of bike flippers are underwater / still think it’s 2020. Don’t put much stock in the asking prices online… they are all sorts of absurd currently and the same old inventory is sitting in people’s garages for months/years.
