No way, alivio is low end. Over all, a mediocre 10year old bike.

You will get quoted American prices by a number of people here. These sort of higher prices are not uncommon from what I see from Canadian posters. The best thing you can do is compare it to other bikes sold in your area. It looks to be in pretty good shape considered its age. Though a drivetrain side pic would be better. This could be a good reliable commuter or light fitness bike.
