You never know what will happen on an adventure like this. Late nights have not been uncommon for us, but we’d like to avoid busy roads like this in the future, especially after dark 😅
If our tent hadn’t been destroyed in that crazy storm we would have just made camp early but unfortunately we hadn’t replaced the tent yet so we biked in the dark up a pass for too long to our hotel. The scenery was at least beautiful during the day.
Also remember to always charge your bike lights unlike us 🙈

Ya might want to reconsider planning. That’s not fun. It evades the very reason to tour in the first place.
This is prohibited to ride a bike on a highway!! Not only about you, but the others security.

Highways and riding in dark! The two things I always avoid.
It's so disheartening how so many Motor Vehicles on the streets or highways have almost zero concerns for a cyclist safety.
Before cell phones add social media I used to be Fearless not worrying about cars… not now with so many close calls almost dieing 😢

That was a planning mistake. For those reading and planning. After Pfunds you have to stay right of the medieval structure, follow the Inn Radweg and reach Nauders through Switzerland (Martina and the Norbertshöhe) via "Claudia Augusta".
