I picked safe places that offer a great quality of life, with clean streets and beautiful parks. Affordability and food culture were key, along with cities that are rich in history and architecture.
10. Helsinki
Clean, safe, and surrounded by nature, with a great food culture and modern architecture.
9. Freiburg im Breisgau
A green city with a laid-back atmosphere, great food, and beautiful nature. The capital of the Black Forest!
8. Vienna
Elegant, vibrant, with world-class museums, parks, and incredible food.
7. Lisbon
Sunny weather, rich history, and relatively affordable cost of living. What more do you want?
6. Zurich
A safe, clean city with great public transport, a lovely lake, and high salaries. Not the cheapest, of course.
5. Riga
Charming and affordable, with amazing art nouveau buildings and green spaces. I studied in Riga, so it feels like my second home.
4. Prague
A gem of a city with beautiful architecture, delicious food, and affordable living. My second most beautiful city in Europe!
3. Copenhagen
A safe and (bike) friendly city, with a high quality of life and lots of fun things to do.
2. Warsaw
A mix of modern and historic, with great food and affordable living.

As a Swiss, Vienna is definitely 1 it’s the most liveable city in the world, I live there.
And it is safe for a big city with 2 Million People

As a Hungarian person who has lived in both in Budapest and Vienna I have to say they are both very worth visiting ,but they both have their flaws as well.

Hello Im from Warsaw. I am living here since I was a kid and it is not the best place to live.
1. First prices. It is affordable fo You as a westerner but for us is really expensive here and mamy people are just poor
2. Safety. I saw many people making videos ,,How Warsaw isn’t safe’’ Idk how about west. On many streets there is a big chance to get attacked robbed or even raped.
You reason just like a tourist. There are so many, many facets that you should consider
