💧No hot water fault combi boiler💧
Customer complained of no hot water, the water would come out warm and then go stone cold at all hot water outlets…
On arrival, opening the hot tap at the basin I can see the temperature on the boiler screen rapidly rise to 82 degreees and then the boiler cuts off…
Whip the case off and there’s a test we can do to prove what component is at fault, I find this test incredible so wanted to share it…

Do you ever clean the playe rather than replace?
Best thing is to try to have a new or reconditioned one and remember to clean the one you take out..

I have greenstar 30i, on heating it does not ramp up temperature doesn't rise quick on heating as it should seems like just running on minimum any help, thanks
I don’t recommend cleaning the plate. Nasty chemicals needed. Breathing in the fumes or splashing acid on your skin. Not worth it £120 for the new one comes with lots of seals
