Saw two great offers and kind of struggle choosing one or the other.
Here are the two choices
Trek Marlin 5
490bgn(263usd)
Fork
Suntour XCE
Hydraulic brakes
29 inch tires
And ghost kato essential 29
600bgn(322usd)
Fork
Suntour XCM
Hydraulic brakes
29 inch tires
I do not plan on extreme riding. Just the basics(maybe progressing to more intermediate things down the line)
Jumping off sidewalk curbs or on top of them
Riding down stairs.
Maybe around 30cm drops.
I'm upgrading from a very old cheap mtb.
It had no adjustable fork, no replacable rear derailleur hanger, as far as I know you couldn't replace the fork on it, but I might be wrong.

Budget is around 750bgn(402usd)
I wouldn’t say I’m a complete beginner. I’ve been riding a bike since I was around 6, stopped at around 14 because mine broke from a badly taken jump and couldn’t service it then, got it back at 17 and serviced it and after a year of usage it’s breaking down again and the cost of the repairs will cost more than the bike.
Had a Marlin 5 for many years, even tho i modified it (mainly the transmission) it was a great value bike, can take light and a bit heavier rides with no problem, even did some freeride with it no problem
either one is already an upgrade from your old mtb. but since the marlin 5 is cheaper, I’d go that route and use the extra money to have it tuned up or other maintenance it requires.
Found another offer.
Cross grx 9
It has a rockshox judy fork.
Hydraulic brakes.
The derealiour hanger looks like a more common design.
Cant find info about it online except on Bulgarian sites, which is kinda a red flag for me.
