Been riding an Aliexpress one for a few months without issues functionally. One thing to note about the design is that the chain link belly is more likely to knock against the lock ring with a small enough cog. I have a generic lock ring and a 13t cog where the chain has worn grooves into the lock ring from the pressure.

I can personally recommend kmc, great chain very smooth and honestly looks very durable but I’ve only had this bike a year
