I see a number 3 on the top tube, which would make it the AL3 – Sora 9 speed model. A brand new one is $1200. I wouldn’t pay more than $800 for this one, and less than that if the tires are worn out.

Yeah they are asking top dollar for an aluminum frame and bottom bracket group set. $700 to $750 and maybe it’s worth it.
Looks like a nice bike! I’d try to talk him down to $900 or $850. Its winter and the market is shit. I’m sure you’ll get it.
I dont know what your budget is but looking at this ad its either the bike is stolen or the guy did not have any clue what he is selling
