taking photos in düsseldorf | sony a7c ii | solo travel vlog

We’re nearing the end of my 17 day trip to Europe. In this video, I was 11 days into my trip so my energy was starting to lower a bit. This was my second time in Düsseldorf and I chose to make it a stop because it was a nice mid-point between Berlin and Amsterdam. I used the opportunity to visit some friends, go on a photo walk, and took a quick day trip to Köln, a city I still struggle to pronounce to this day.

I got to meet up with my friend Sven who shot with a Sony a7R V. He let me test drive the sony 70-200mm f2.8 GM II and WOW I loved that lens so much. I was very close to taking it home with me 🙂

I didn’t film a whole lot while in Düsseldorf and Köln because I had some low feelings about filming in smaller, conservative cities in Germany. I don’t think vlogging is very common so I filmed very selectively.

The song at the end is “Alles aus liebe” by Die Toten Hosen, a German punk rock band I listened to in high school. They are from Düsseldorf and thought it was appropriate to include here, despite the copyright strike. It’s for my memories anyway 🙂
