I Don't use my phone while driving. It's a disgusting habit, and dangerous. To be fair, I don't drive either, so I am double careful.

I use my phone whenever the heck I want to. I don't care about anyone else, including their safety when riding bicycles, motorcycles, any other vehicles, even just crossing the street. I run red lights when I feel like it or am in a hurry. I drink and drive. I brake check slow drivers. I try to intimidate anyone who gets my attention. I am a troll and I don't believe in the social contract. When I die, the universe will cease to exist. You will regret the day that you try to mind my business, but only for as long as I permit you to live. The same is true for all who have suggested, or who may suggest that I am a psychopath. I am legion and my numbers are growing steadily. Soon they will reach a tipping point and society as we know it will cease to exist. I am looking forward to that day. I really wish that EVERYONE would just stop using a handset whist driving. Not only would the roads be safer but it would also stop wasting the police and judicial systems time dealing with it. As an added bonus it would perhaps help send this strange creepy gentleman back to irrelevance.

Why is it so difficult to use the OFF switch on a mobile phone? Generations of drivers managed without them. Even static in traffic shows how little they concentrate on driving now. Time the insurance companies got together and treated mobile phone usage the same as drunk driving.

If the met are only going to do half a job by sending warning letters out then they should also inform the insurance company.

I’d be surprised if he was a cyclist. As a cyclist/car driver I’ve come close to being knocked off my bike by 2 phone users not paying attention. I have respect for other road users when I’m driving. Sadly a lot of drivers don’t show that respect to other road users.

I don't use my phone while driving. Mine is just mostly in the door pocket for navigation audio

I have had 2 phone users hit the back of my car. It costs them dearly when i hire a car during repairs. It is very common to look in your rear view mirror and drivers are looking at their groin instead of forward. Seen a few cars in front of me rear end the car in front and this all makes everyones insurance dearer
