I bought this e-bike for my daughter a while ago. After a few months cycling the tyre got seperated from the rim like the picture. I tried deflating and pumping it back up and the tyre was back to normal. Still it worries me, my daughter doesn’t know much about bikes so it would be a big headache for her if it broke down on the road.

It looks like the bead (the part that connects to the rim) is torn off the tire. Yes, replace the tire.
Make sure the new one is inflated correctly. Get a floor pump with a gauge. Use it at least weekly. Bike tire get soft a lot faster than car tires.
