Just wondering if it is a crack, or just paint chipping? Its an CF SLX Speedmax, so the chipped area is right where the contact happens when the front wheel is turned all the way to the right or left side. P.S. been to a local cycle shop-service and they said that’s fine – just some paint chipping from the impact of the fork

I’d probably trust the opinion of the shop given it’s in their interest not to mislead you here and that telling from a picture on the Internet is impossible. I would guess it’s fine.
Have you had any accidents on the bike? unless it’s impacted it hard, then it’s unlikely to have cracked it. If it’s just through light contact then it might just be paint wear, but that will eventually wear the carbon too. So I would put something protective on it which will cover the mark & prevent further wear. Vinyl car wrap might work?
