Its 3×10. I got pictures big – smallest, small – biggest, and both biggest. The chain isnt actually long enough to fit the biggest cassette and chainring but i am hoping its fine because i would never pedal on that gear anyway. Is it too short? Should i get a new chain? Or would it be okay to just keep it

We sometimes accidentally crosschain big-big without meaning to. And when you do, that too-short chain will overstretch the rear derailleur. Don’t ask me how I know.

Add a link or two to that chain so that it can safely accommodate crosschaining big-big.

This is how a properly-sized chain looks like:

Fully retracted when crosschained small-small without chain sag or the rear derailleur over-retracting: https://matrix.redditspace.com/_matrix/media/v3/thumbnail/reddit.com/zzohu7k35q5b1?height=512

And when crosschained big-big, the rear derailleur isn’t overstretched: https://matrix.redditspace.com/_matrix/media/v3/thumbnail/reddit.com/aizufgk35q5b1?height=512

if you can get into big – big and it doesn’t go sloppy in small-small, then it is alright.
