Hi people, first time poster here.
This is my bike I bought about 8 years ago as a single speed commuter. The guy who I bought it from has built some bikes und the name Bellitanner, which where over my price range. But he specced this according to my budget with parts he had flying around. Still loving the Aluminium frame.
At first I rode it as a singlespeed, last season I changed it to fixed and fell in love with this style of riding.
Now I wan‘t do do some upgrades and I thought that I can share my ideas here to get some more options and advice.
New chain (izumi), pedals(flats) and straps are already on order and and I‘m also considering a new wheel set (currently miche pistard or dt Swiss t1800). New saddle is obviously also in the planning.
Currently I’m considering a change to a drop bar, because I tend to do longer rides and want more comfort with some more hand positions. With the riser, my wrists tend to hurt after 2h. I know that pursuit bars are also highly regarded, but I'm more used to drops and I also like the look better.
Do you have any tips for me? My current favorite is the zipp service course sl-70 bar (width??), other ideas are welcome but I need some advice about choosing the right stem. My budget for bar+stem is <150€.
Jokes welcome, honest advise even more.

A chain, nice pedals, maybe superlight tubes?
IMO upgrades on wheels make the biggest difference (wheelset, tires, tubes…)
If I want a blackout, I would get black seat and black handlebars. But that’s me…
A new chain and pedals are arriving in the next few days. I’m definitely buying a new wheelset, but I haven’t decided which one yet. If I want to keep the front brake, I could install a DT Swiss p1750 spline in the front, which I still have lying around. I would then „match“ that with a t1800
