I picked up a cheap cult set up on fb marketplace. I’m pretty sure it’s a 21” top tube. I’ve been riding bikes forever but Just started taking bmx riding “seriously” about 3 months ago and I want to make sure I set up right. Any other tall people out there? Should I got for a longer top tube? Like 21.5 maybe?

Looks good mate. A top load stem might help you out
At the end of the day, you are going to look too tall on just about any setup. I’m 6’4” and have ridden every top tube from 20.75” to 21.5”. I just went back down to a 21.25” because the 21.5” I was on was nice and stable for jumping but a little tough for spinning. A top load stem and some taller bars will help tremendously. Just tinker with some adjustments ride whatever feels good.
a longer tt would definitely be helpful in your case, but i must say that from the video, the bike fist you nicely. i’m 5’11” and i ride a 21.5″ [biggie](https://thebmxdude.com/go/cult-biggie-frame-reddit) frame and love it! always enjoyed a little larger frames, but with the modern geo, longer tt doesn’t really feel that long 🙂
Top load stem and or higher rise bars will help dial in the fit. I’m 6′ and run a 21.25″ TT.
I’m 6’2 and love 21.25 TT
I think a lot of 21.5 tt frames also have longer rear ends. (Just something to keep in mind)
But again it’s all whatever you like for you.
