Does anybody know how they used to route the shift cables for bar end shifters back in the 60's? This is how the bike came and we are trying to restore it back to as original as possible.
I know this is close to how it is done currently, however, the housing really has no rigidity to it and it is just flopping around. I has seen where a lot of the older bikes they would wrap it in the bar tape similar to what is done with STI shifters.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
