When I see neon, I immediately think of my dad and father in-law. Look can only be improved by combing different colours of neon ๐ฆบ
In all seriousness: this doesnโt look all too bad with the added benefit that no driver in existence can claim to not have seen you for kmโs.

Usually Iโd go long sleeves before tights, I get my arms cold earlier than the legs

Gives off craziness. Why are you wearing tights with short sleeves? Insane. Mental. Colors look fine though.

I’d rather get run over from behind by an 18 wheeler than wear neon

This looks good to me. I like the use of the yellow for visibility.

You are choosing safety over fashion in the most extreme way and that’s ok, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
Personally, if the choice is wearing neon vs getting hit with a car…..one second, let me check my health insurance benefits

Cut the legs off below the knee and put them on your arms. You have it backwards.

If you really care about being seen, a blinky light (or better yet, one that changes blinky patterns when it detects a car like this one: [https://www.competitivecyclist.com/garmin-varia-rtl515-rearview-radar-with-taillight](https://www.competitivecyclist.com/garmin-varia-rtl515-rearview-radar-with-taillight) ) is going to do more than a bright vest.
But the bright vest certainly helps.

Unpopular Personal Opinion incoming: Iโm not a fan of large swaths of fluorescent yellow but donโt mind it as small accents here and there.
I get why clothing manufacturers do it from a practical perspective. We all want to be better seen. However, from a fashion perspective, it feels a bit dated, and dare I say it, โdorkyโ: more utilitarian, less trendy.
Iโll clarify, and preface this by saying I would never ride without a helmet, but the closest โvibeโ I can compare it to is when my friends wore helmets on their BMX bikes when riding around our neighborhood in the 80โs. In those days, it just wasnโt cool to wear a helmet as it was thought of as being overly cautious/ nerdy.

Of course, we know better now.
