  1. [Here](https://www.tektro.com/en/global) you can find the Tektro offices in the world. I was looking for a hard to find membrane for my Tektro hydraulic brakes and I solved with Tektro Europe (I’m in Belgium). Maybe you can find a part with Tektro USA or with their agent in Canada.

  2. I recently had the same problem. I did a pretty good search and could not do better than that source. After I ordered it I kicked my own butt for not ordering at least one spare, since I tend to work on older bikes and use new parts… the price for the bolt itself being pretty fair, and would have made sure I’d get combined shipping.

The conversion kit that Tektro used to offer is no longer available.

Converting the brake to use that bolt went well.

I had seen the same brake — r559 –available for nutted installation, but it was more expensive. Hah, it would have been cheaper and easier to pay that extra amount.

The other alternative is to drill the back side of the front fork to allow the newer style recessed install.
