A native of Copenhagen, Agnethe has spent her entire life in the city. With a master’s degree in history and Danish literature, she wrote her thesis on Hans Christian Andersen’s The Little Mermaid, reflecting her lifelong passion for fairy tales and storytelling. After graduation, Agnethe pursued her love for history and culture by becoming a tour guide. She has been guiding in Copenhagen for 10 years, starting with local tour companies and museums, and for the past 5 years as an independent guide. Her tours cover topics like Copenhagen’s history, Danish food culture, royal castles, and Jewish history.
