6:09 my guess would be that he is just bored cus it is very hard to catch motorcyclist because you can't really stop the motorcyclist(well atleast not in a way that is legal here) so it might even cause more harm to actually try to catch them than just letting them go do their thing.
The police officer was not trying to catch him. Just keeping up and telling others where he goes so they can put up a road block. Almost all of the police bikers in Finland are professional street bikers before they became police. So all of them are experts. If a police bike is behind you and tries to pull you over you might escape if you are in an air plane.

18:10 i think he was trying to go to the forest because those police motorcycles don't have the correct tires for off road so the traction is kinda bad so most of the power is wasted just pushing dirt. it is a good plan but you have to have the correct tires for it and it takes some skill to do it. if you don't have correct tires then it's not gonna work that well.
We have motorcycle gangs here in Finland. Hells Angels, Bandidos and few others are called procent gangs 'cause they have 1% mark on their leather vests. It means that one procent of motorcyclists are criminals. They wear color. Hells Angels are red and white, Bandidos are red and yellow (gold). Other "normal" motorcycle clubs wear black/white. Few years ago all Finnish gangs/clubs took pictures of their logos and design of their vests and created a database to internet for all to see. I know this 'cause my boyfriend was the president of one black/white club.
They are chasing him through Lauttasaari, Helsinki around 03:16, they turn to the center road of Lauttasaari and pass the Myllykallio Elementary school that's on the right side of the road, cannot be seen too well in the video but some of the smaller yard buildings can be noticed, then they speed through the busy central road, crazy! Then from 4-5 minutes in the video they get nearer and nearer to central Helsinki, crossing the bridge and leaving Lauttasaari (the bridge goes across a patch of the ocean, not river btw :)), but at 04:51 they turn back away from Helsinki to a highway. What a chase and nice Lauttasaari tour at the start!

Well, criminals are idiots! This is not normal for The Finnish Police, cause The public safety is No. 1. Usually they Would not chase him so far but he was clearly insane and very dangerous. The co-operation between different Police forces / units is so good, that you can run, but you can not hide. In The US The Police Would have used at least a missile and 500 rounds and killed 20 innocent People.

Someone commented tha the biker was known to police beforehand, and he commented to the chasing cop afer the chase "you drove fucking well".
Good old Lauttasaari tour, not in so good way though lol. Used to live there, until moving tfo from Helsinki (it's lost cause nowadays, too many immigrants, too much crime, too expensive).
Yeah this is Helsinki (or mostly Espoo which is a bordering municipality). It's a couple of years old but you do get to see a lot of the western parts of the city here lol.

Yeah… this is from 2017… the biker trying to flee was holding drugs and was also very high on them. The route went through from Helsinki-Lauttasaari-Ruoholahti back to Lauttasaari, to Espoo Tapiola-Niittykumpu-Friisilä-Suomenoja-Espoon keskus and then looped back towards Suomenoja. I know all the those roads well… but wouldn´t ever dare to even try to escape a police officer on a bike. I am fairly good biker myself but these finnish police bikers are something else and they train their skills a lot on the track too. BTW: bikes are ridden, not driven.
These days finnish police bikes are updated to very fastest bike models there are available.
Noticed how the police bike`s gearbox was miss-shifting a lot? I think third or fourth gear was in a bad shape already…
That was a really crazy ride. I've seen that quite many times and it happened on areas that are very familiar to me.

First as I wasn't paying atettion what youtube startes playing but mentioning of them baker gangs got my attention just to realize it was biker gangs. Man that would be awesome outlaw bakers
