New-to-me Specialized Crux and the previous owner threw an S-Works stem on it with the integrated bike computer mount. I like the setup but need to adjust the fit, so am hoping that instead of buying a new stem I can flip this 110mm x -12 degree and put the 5 mm spacer underneath it. A friend of mine says you can’t do that with this specific type of S-Works stem but had trouble explaining why not, so I’m curious for other opinions

Well you can flip it of course, but I think the result would be a strange looking bike. Try it and you know it.
You can flip it, but I agree with the other guy that it’ll look weird.
If you flip it, maybe you didn’t need an S-Works to begin with?
Are those one-piece stem-handlebars?
