    any bike that works is atleast 100-150 depending on are. with that said you could probably find a bike from the 80s or 90s for the same price.

    this is an old 70s bike. its a 5 speed. for reference basic road bikes now have 8 speeds.

    the shifters are also down tube. while down tube shifters are really easy to maintain, shifting has moved to the drop bars and they aren’t going back.

    if you’re looking for a cheap bike that’s easy to maintain or an old bike to toy with, it’s good, but if you’re looking for a more convient bike. its not the one.

  2. No. Too old. When stuff breaks from use, (and it will….) anything beyond cables n brake pads etc, now Ur looking for vintage parts..that’s a hassle for someone who knows bike parts and you’ve said that you’re new to this.

    It’s a nice looking bike but it’s an enthusiast bike, for a collector/fan of that era
