Found a bone stock Hardrock on marketplace for $80. Decent condition for the age. All mechs still worked. Spent 0 additional dollars on it. Parts bin built.

Outstanding. My middle school daughter rides an xbike I built for myself to school and loves it. Similar vibes, big basket and low bmx bars. I put fenders and studded tires on for winter though.
