Windsor Great Park is owned and manage by the Crown Estate is open to the public for cycling and walking, although some or all the park may close because of various events throughout the year.
I started the tour by entering the park via Rangers Gate passing through ‘The Village’ and left through Ascot Gate before entering again through Blackness Gate passing the home of the Guards Polo Club a former RAF airfield during the war and finishing the cycle ride at Bishopsgate.
