This is my 1987 Cannondale SR800 ‘Black Lighting’ in it’s finished (for now, at least) state. It arrived in my possession completely intact and mostly original but pretty dried out and dusty. I tore it down, cleaned it thoroughly, and debated what to do with it until I happened across a deal on a full 5800 group and got carried away.

Usually I would be apposed to stripping the original Suntour Sprint groupset off of a Black Lightning, but you did a great job on this update. I love your choice of wheel/tire combo.

Wanted to build it up with modern parts but money got kinda tight at that time
