I’m trying to rebuild the internals of a hub from my son’s Bmx that he totally destroyed. I’ve got the hub rebuild kit from colony who make the hub however I can’t work out how to remove the colour or sleeve that the pawls from the driver grip into. Is there a specialist tool to do this that I don’t have or a technique that I don’t know? Any help gratefully received hopefully the pictures show what I’m talking about. First one shows the old collar still in situ. The next two show the new one that I need to replace it with you can see it’s threaded on the outside so it should screw in and out.
