I got back from a small bikepacking trip last month and only just got around to reassembling my bike. This nut thing is missing presumably fell off during the flight. What is it called and would I be able to find a replacement?
I believe it’s called a thru axle end cap.
I’ve lost one before too— I found the maker of the hub and looked up replacements for the model hub my bike had.
Those appear to be 12mm?

End cap. Find a replacement? Maybe, is that a wheel that came stock on a bike? It can be hard to get specs for small parts like that from a bike company. Contact the manufacturer of either the wheel or the bike.

It’s likely called an end cap, specifically for the thru axle.

Looks like a value oriented Formula/Hubtec hub to me – likely 12mm? Should be able to find a replacement online. Can you post a pic of the hub so we can see the body of it? Is there a model name on it?
