Aluminum frame with sensah srx pro vs steel frame with shimano claris

I'm looking forward to buy my first gravel bike, an entry level bike of course, with the intent of doing long distance and some backpacking. But i'm breaking my head over the groupset. Both of my option have strengths and weaknesses. First is the P3 Grava V2, aluminum frame with a sensah Sensah SRX PRO 1 x11 vs the classic marin nicasio 1 steel frame with the good old shimano claris 2×8. All the reviews about this groupsets are not very conclusive.
