If you’re new to the sport and also have available funds to upgrade parts as they break, go for it. If that’s not you, I’d maybe shop around more or save more. At a glance the bike appears to be spec’d with low tier parts, main reason for my comment

It’s a good bike but is the lowest spec’d aluminum frame Stumpjumper. My coworker bought the same bike for $2200 new towards the tail end of the pandemic. It is now the previous generation model since the new version came out earlier this year. There are probably better options of that’s your budget but if you really like the bike it’s not a bad buy at all lower price. Have a look at bicyclebluebook or what other similar bikes are being sold for online.

Well, I paid $1,400 for my 2019 Stumpy in early 21 during Covid so I think this is too high. $1,200 probably.

I own this bike, I’m a big fucker (300 pounds) and take this thing on some semi-gnarley downhill runs in southern Az. It’s really resilient, fun to ride and have had no issues with it. I paid around 2200 brand new.
