Great idea and great video! Are you going to tour county by country with this?
Lush film lads, I love cycling in this part of the world
Guys, shush! Northumberland is a well kept secret (no mention of grants in Corbridge, missing out if you’ve not sampled their cakes).
Hope you’ll both be riding prospect hill in the hill climb this year 😂
Coast to Coast Whitehaven to Whitley Bay is a belter
Yes, I enjoy the new format👍
Fun stuff. I really want some kippers now…
nice video guys, but as a longtime viewer, i have got some constructive criticism. first as i initially mentioned, i like this specific content, (close enough to your trip style video which are some of my favorites). I also think the new podcast is a worthy addition. What i am less enthusiastic about is the current branding "style" and the somewhat cheesy video thumbnails. I would also be happier with fewer of the "what the cheapest bike that still ride-able" kind of videos. Equipment videos are welcome, just prefer the frequency and style of the bike fit tuesday era, ( something more like chatting with knowledgeable friends about bikes, than youtube comparison). I am sure your content creation skills continue to improve, and perhaps its just personal preference, but it seems the older videos felt more cinematic, and personal, and i think my reasons for watching were as much about spending time time with the whole crew (Francis, Jimmy, James, Chris, "beard and bun", etc) as it was about cycling…
Loved it. Well done guys. I just rode the coast to coast route 72 last month and you've just convinced me to do the route 1 up the coast from Tynemouth. Looking forward to the rest of this series
Great video! I hope you showcase the Lake District area. It’s absolutely beautiful and plenty of quiet/hilly roads to ride on! Coast to Coast from Whitehaven to Newcastle passes through loads of amazing scenery and top 100 climbs so I’d recommend that for anyone looking for multi-day/bike packing style holidays too!
More of this kind of stuff please! So much more interesting and entertaining.
little observation… Cases wearing Oakley's not sungods. New sponsor?
Great place for cyclists and non-cyclist is Cragside nr Rothbury. There is a single track road the loops round the estate (it's only a few miles but it is beautiful) to ride the bike. The non-cyclists can walk round the grounds. If you plan it right, both groups meet at the cafe or for a picnic – the walkers travel a bit, the cyclists a lot. The more adventurous cyclists can cross the road into the forest opposite and get into the hills. Evening meal in Rothbury.
I agree Kielder and cycle route 1 are the dogs knees
Theses are great videos. Explains why we come to the UK to hike and cycle.
Great vid guys. Love this format. Did the Northumberland part of the 1 cycle route with my dog on my back recently over 2 days was absolutely insane
Liked this video. Good job.
Great vids guys love the format and interaction of you both 👏🏻👏🏻
I love this format. something different and me being from the usa i got a history lesson. very cool
You guys need to do this where I'm from!! I love the new format, it presents really well and kept my attention! Maybe an unpopular opinion but England looks like a pretty cool bike touring country!
Bros i love this format
Keep it up from Australia 🇦🇺
I recognised the starting layby straight away 😊 The Lakeside Way trail around Kielder is my favourite ride in the UK, for sure! There's also a brilliant Lost Lanes route from Bellingham up past Kielder too which is amazing.
Love this new format. Keep them coming.
Love these videos 👌🏻
out my door I have miles and miles of places to ride. 90mins driving loads of MTB destinations.
I'm from Canada and oddly enough have done tons of cycling in Northumberland. Love this place. Don't miss Vindolanda the amazing Roman Legion fort near Sycamore Gap. Corbridge is every bit the gem you describe. So is Warkworth – beautiful little town tumbling down to the river with Warkworth Castle on the height. The Beamish Living Museum of the North is great too. A great loop is Hadrian's Way in one direction and C2C in the other direction which goes by Corbridge, Vindolanda and Beamish. Warkworth is up the coast north of Newcastle on the way to Edinburgh – another great ride.
Back wearing Oakley’s interesting 🧐
Great break down! I’d love to do a cycling long weekend in the UK. Ps: what tyres are you guys running here..?
great to see non ali express kit videos, Keep them coming
Loved it 👍👍
You can ride through the MOD's live artillery range at Otterburn. You have to check the closure times but you cycle past half blown up tanks etc.
There are some great climbs and descents in there and it's super quiet.
This was great. I'm from Durham and have visited many of these places but you've shown them in a way that makes me both appreciate having experienced them, and eager to do so again
… and even you if decide to have holidays in the UK, train strikes may change your plans all of the sudden 😄 (true story 😑)
No more Nick 😢😢 he’s brilliant
