  1. It’s dead, you’ll need a new crown, as I don’t think Fox sells stanchions on their own and you’ll a full lower rebuild. I’d take to a shop which is Fox certified to have a look.

    At this point just buy a new fork. But to specifically answer your question, no, you can’t get anything out of a damaged stanchion because it will perpetually damage the fork seals it passes through.

  3. you need a new csu. don’t bother getting the gold factory csu vs the regular black on for a 10 year old bike unless you just want the bling.

    Looks like someone missed their 4000 hrs minimal service window.

    You can likely get a new top-crown with the stanchions – from how bad that looks I wouldn’t bet money on the airshaft and the damper being in a good shape and it might be easier just to get a new fork and take that new-bike-feeling, but in theory you can replace the top crown with the stanchions.

    If you can find the serial number you can look up the part and start hunting on ebay.

    They’re done. And with a kashima coating too. Didn’t you see the signs they needed A service? Replacement I reckon and believe me I know it ain’t cheap
