I finally got this bike to the point where I feel comfortable sharing it. It feels great to ride.

Here's the build:

1985 Raleigh Seneca frameset with original bullhorn bars.

Diacompe 981 cantis with matching Diacompe 981 levers.

Suntour XC Expert ratchet thumb lever mounted underbar.

Freebie CODA 94 bcd cranks with a Stridsland 32t narrow wide chainring

Shimano PD-M324 pedals Suntour V GT Luxe RD

Unknown front wheel grabbed out of a junk pile

Deore XT rear hub laced to a Panaracer rim

Panaracer Dart and Smoke tires

Hite-Rite is in the mail!

To Do:

I'm going to get a new wheelset before too long as I stole those wheels from my partner's bike, redo cabling and housing, find the right cranks and the right seat/seatpost combo

Is that upside down thumb shifter comfortable to use? I’ve contemplated doing something similar on my Ross.
