Doesn’t list the watts output. If 3 watts it’ll take you about 8 hours of cycling at least 15kmph NON STOP to charge a large phone battery. Highly unlikely it’s 6watts, they’d advertise it, brag about it, 3-4 hours. No hills. Wishful thinking. Also the build quality of those things are junk in comparison to hub dynamo’s

Many manufacturers are making fast charging long lasting, bump proof, somewhat weather proof, power banks. Jackery 100 plus for example. Ecoflow another (1 hour charge lasts weeks). Both can be linked to solar also. A small solar panel can do 10 watts. 3 = 30 watts + 1 hr wall recharge at coffee shops ect

Nah I’d rather just go with two 10k power banks or if you need more charging then two 20k power banks.

  4. As an aside I very happy with my cycle2charge connected to my SON Dynamo. It will recharge my p9pro as the phone is playing Bluetooth audio to my headphones.

    I wouldn’t touch a sidewall generator.

  5. Never tried this one but just commenting to say not too feel too bad about pedalcell. I loved it as an idea but it really didn’t hold up too well on anything except perfect tarmac. I’d get an awful screeching sound if it was a little out of place on the rim and found myself doing stupid risky stuff to hit it back into place at speed. I’m sure some of it was user error, but after one trip with it I switched to a dynamo hub and haven’t been stupid enough to mess that up yet!
