My son wants a bike for his birthday, which is in a few months. A few months ago, I decided to build him something as a stop gap to keep him on the trails with me. I found the old Truth frame on EBay, and used as many spare parts and second hand parts as possible. I also took advantage of some sales to get the fork and shock. The seat, cassette, and pedals are AliExpress. I’m still waiting on the Fox remote, but it’s mostly complete.
I’m getting him a hard tail for his birthday, so this bike might eventually get passed down to his little brother.
