disregard the absolute mess my kitchen is rn lol My NJS Watanabe I built about 5 years ago. Went a retro/modern route with it but overall its nothing special. Havent really ridden in probably 3 years, mostly because my saddle really hurt to sit on. Just got a Brooks C19 the other day and a Thomson 90mm stem today (both in the photo). Hoping these make the ride more bearable. So far just trying out the seat not moving it feels pretty good so there is definitely hope! Next I definitely want a matching Thomson seatpost and different risers. Something with a slightly higher rise maybe and definitely wider. If all goes well I may even try buying a new frame and building that. Definitely excited to get back on it though

You got the fixed bug back! Upgrading components always helps bring the passion back.
I’d love to be able to say ‘I’ll just upgrade to this Thomson stuff’. Maybe one day.
