In the early Fall, we took a cool sunny day to ride the Klausen Pass joining Glarus and Uri cantons. We climbed and descended the Linthal side of the pass. There is a beautiful village near the top of the pass called Urnerboden, which features in the Swiss crime drama “Wilder”. The climb is structured with about 2/3 of the climbing in the first half, then a long plateau, followed by the last 1/4 of the climbing compressed in about 2 km on a very narrow set of switchbacks.

Thanks for posting the video. I will be riding the virtual route from Nidfurn in a few days' time, and wanted to get a sense of what the real thing is like, in a effort to make the indoor experience a little easier to endure.
