    That looks like a tyre on an abandoned bike that’s been decomposing deflated in a shed for the last 8-12 years. Tires have a shelf and use-life before they start cracking like that.

    Luckily, tires like that are pretty cheap. Replace like-for-like, or say what your normal riding terrain is and get some suggestions.

    It’s fine to pop down to the shop for some milk, a burger , six-pack, or tofu salad…

    But I wouldn’t be launching myself down some gnarly down-hill, or attacking a technical mtb-park KOM attempt on it…

    10-15 mph on a smooth surface… Sure, it will probably be fine and no harm if it fails…

    15-30 mph on something bumpy? No way.
