Between Chainhurst and Coxheath, running almost parallel to the much busier Linton Hill, Westerhill Climb has an elevation gain of 112 metres over a distance of 2.01 kilometres.

The lower section of Westerhill Climb starts as you enter Bon Fleur Lane and is very easy. However, once the junction with Barnes Lane is reached and you enter Westerhill Road the hill just seems to get continually steeper until the summit.
