Last weekend I converted my Canyon Exceed into a dropbar MTB / monster gravel.
Keeping the original front suspension fork without a remote lever as it usually was open anyway. Maybe I’ll swap it for a fork with a lockout on the crown at a later stage. I added a ZIPP Service Course SL-80 XPLR handlebar in 400mm and swapped to Rival AXS levers paired with a SRAM GX RD.
Still need to test the position a few times and try out different stem lenghts to find the perfect fit for me. But so far it rides awesome and it feels way better on longer distances than a regular MTB handlebar for me at least.

Not gravel perfection is most cases but looks like a sick machine. Probably perfect for your kind of gravel.

no such thing as perfection the n+1 is true for a reason 😉 probably great, fun and fast on some types of rides though but call it a hybrid or whateva?

It will certainly Exceed my bike’s trail capabilities.

Sir this is an XC MTB with drop bars.
Depends on the terrain, it can be amazing.Â

Needs a Rival AXS 40t or 42t chainring. Will be bomber on road and gravel.
