I'm thinking of buying the 26×2.2 Bontrager XR2 TLR to replace a 2.25 crossmark 2 because it seems narrow and shorter in sidewall height. Anybody know if the XR2 TLR is similar in size to the Comp version? I own a 27.5x 2.2 XR2 TLR and it runs narrow at about 2.1 at its widest and not as tall as the comp which measures 2.2 and is tall.

Actual size depends heavily on the rim width as well, so this is kind of hard to answer
