The Conquest name was introduced in 1982 or 83 with the Conquest Escape Vehicle, a super low production frame that was really expensive for a comparable bike. When Linn Kastan sold Redline to SBS in 1988, they made some mass market mountain bikes starting in 1989. They had some sweet elevated chainstay frames too! I think they introduced the Conquest 2 in 1994 when they expanded their line up significantly, adding road and cyclocross bikes but I am not sure. In 1999, the Conquest name was moved to the more popular cyclocross bikes for some reason and the name was used for that line until the company essentially died a few years ago. Not sure of the year and all the catalogs from the time I can find are just on BMX frames but that should narrow it down. They had a tendency to put a sticker on the bike that said “1972-19XX” that the last year was the model year for so maybe look for that if it is somewhere.
