No tailspin, a gear check could've saved him. You can see his pilot is going through his leg strap which wouldn't allow it to open. DO YOUR GEAR CHECKS
As you can see in the video his pilot chute is under his harness and if you just put down the camera or double/triple checked your gear this could have been prevented

He did not go into a "deadly tailspin". There is no such term in BASE jumping or skydiving. Besides..he doesn't even have a tail. Why do non – jumpers try to make things up when they don't know what they are talking about?
