Yes, just be sure needs a cassette and not a freewheel, many bikes with those 7 speed drivetrains need a freewheel and not a cassette.
If he already has a 7 speed cassette on the bike, then you should be good with those components. Be sure it’s a cassette he has though, and not a freewheel.
