Maternity care is under the spotlight like never before. With high-profile inquiries, declining public confidence, and an ever-expanding list of recommendations to implement, improving the quality and safety of maternity care is an urgent priority.

This session explores how maternity services can be improved by applying social & safety science and working collaboratively with healthcare staff, families and those managing services. The session also covers the ways that policy and professional bodies are supporting services to better manage the risks of maternity care.
