I'm a shorter rider. Currently ride a Specialized Camber Comp 29er in a small. Before that I had a Giant XTC in 29er.
I'm on the hunt for a new bike and I've been trying to decide between the Neuron and the Spectral 125. I was leaning heavily into the Neuron as it seems like a more chill bike as I get a little older, but then I saw in a small it only comes with 27.5 wheels. I'm trying to decide if I'd be better off on the Spectral with the 29er wheels.
Last time I rode 27.5 was during a test ride on a Giant and I didnt like it. That was in like 2017. Have things changed geometry wise enough that I'd be happy on a 27.5 bike?
Thx!
Type of riding – cross countryish. Rooty and Rocky single track. I like climbing as much as going downhill but I'm not looking for a race type of bike. I want ~130-140mm of travel.
Currently my bike is spec'd with XT Shadow 11spd and a RS Revelation 120mm fork. I'd like to keep my component level similar to what I have now.

Neuron for sure if you like climbing, still a fun bike to descend on
