I have a 2019 Norco Search steal with 1×11 Apex groupset. I love the frame’s ride quality and the looks! However I am wanting to upgrade mechanical brakes to hydraulic so planning a total drivetrain upgrade next year.
The end goal is to have an electronic 1×12 with a 10-52 cassette and hydraulic brakes. Things to note: the bike does not have a UDH and I believe will need to upgrade my wheels to support a free hub that is XDR compatible.
Any recommendations or words of advice are greatly appreciated. Specifically I am getting confused about whether my desired cassette works with electronic (AXS?) systems for gravel.
