I got this new tire, at my local Trek store, about 3 weeks ago & last night I noticed this on the sidewall. It’s holding air but looks like it’s coming apart? Tire is an H2 comp 700×35.
Riding while under inflated tire and riding over something sharp.
Do you have a floor pump witj a Guage and do you pump your tires ever 3 days or before every ride if you’re not riding daily?

looks like someone used tire levers to mount the tire.
Only use your hands to mount a tire.

Trek FX is it? I had H2 comps first thing I did was get new tyres they are absolute garbage
Not only do they have zero grip in the wet but they pick up punctures like no tomorrow, take this damage as an excuse to get some good tyres, I have Schwalbe spicers and they are brilliant.

First thing: do not ride that tyre at all. The sidewall is coming apart. It’s not safe to ride at all.
Why that happened: it looks like there’s some mechanical damage along the sidewall even between the parts that have clearly separated. It could have been something sharp ran along the tyre. I haven’t seen a manufacturing defect like that before but I couldn’t rule it out for sure.

Something sharp cut your tire. It could have happened while riding, a piece of debris on the road possibly. The fact that there’s a long cut, and there’s deep and shallow cuts might indicate it was done by hand.
Was your bike parked in an area where others have access to it?
